SD card RAW problem is quite common situation for data loss on the card. Some people may know the solution for formatted SD card recovery or deleted file recovery on an SD card. However, when SD card shows RAW file system, they may have no idea what to do.
Successful Cases on SD Card RAW Recovery
My SD card had been changed from FAT32 to RAW file system. When I connect the card to my PC, it was shown as 0byte. I can find nothing on the card. So I went to a professional data recovery service company to ask for a help. The manager in the company asked a man to help me with the SD card recovery. I told him that I don’t care about the SD card, what I need is the data inside. Then I saw him plugged my SD card to his laptop. I don’t know what he had done, but after a while I saw all the data on my SD card have been shown. Then the man told me that I need to pay $500 for all the data recovery. It is really expensive but I have no other method. However, still feel lucky that all the lost data have been 100% restored. After all lost files have been recovered, he formatted my SD card to FAT32 file system and the card can work properly again.
Since I paid $500 last time when my SD card shows RAW, I tried my best to search for the solution for RAW SD card recovery. Then I learned that it quite easy to restore any data from a RAW SD card by using RAW recovery software. Then I found another SD card which also shows RAW file system and tried to recover data. Since it is the first time that I perform data recovery on a RAW SD card, I felt it is not skillfully. Mistakenly, I format the SD card before data recovery. When I realized the mistake, I stopped it immediately and began using RAW recovery software. The software is very easy to use, I just follow the instructions on the software, and it can scan for the SD card automatically and show all found files. Since I formatted the card before recovering data, I only restored about 90% of lost data this time.
